Alan graduated from Regis University in Denver,
Colorado with a degree in Counseling Psychology.
He helps clients relate to shame, loneliness, deep
sadness, and sexual identity concerns.
Alan has experience working with issues of grief
and loss and crisis transformation. He interned at
a hospice as a bereavement counselor. He
specializes in group processes, relationships,
depression, and healing trauma. He is trained in
EMDR, a proven technique for treating abuse,
sexual assault, and trauma.
His work is informed by Buddhist psychology,
mythology, and expressive arts therapies. His
personal style of therapy incorporates humor
and lightheartedness.

NYC and Chicago. He has studied dance, ceramics, and
creative writing. He has extensive business experience
as a project manager in communications and marketing.
He works from a home office and lives with his Jack
Russell Terrier, Liza.
